Gymnetwork vaults

Where were deposits invested? GYM Network's Vault routed BNB or BUSD deposits through smart contracts to Alpaca Finance lending on BNB Chain. The original lending arrangement predates Alpaca Finance's May 26, 2025 announcement to wind down all its products.

How did lending and GYMNET rewards fit together?

Alpaca Finance supplied the lending service behind the Vault. GYM Network combined that service with GYMNET incentives and an affiliate system. GYMNET was the project's utility token, so GYMNET rewards and the BNB or BUSD committed to lending represented different assets.

GYM Network's own reward system did not remove the deposit's dependence on Alpaca Finance lending.

February 24, 2022: What did BNB Vault affiliate access require?

GYM Network's February 24, 2022 affiliate-system announcement described two requirements for participation: a deposit of at least 0.05 BNB into the BNB Vault and entry through a referral code. These were terms of the announced BNB Vault affiliate program.

A share of profits generated by sponsored Vault deposits was assigned to sponsor commissions. When referral levels were insufficient, the plan directed the applicable commissions to the treasury for promotion and events. Eligible GYMNET reward claims were also to be divided between the user's balance and the affiliate system.

The separate GYM Network Products walkthrough displayed 0.051 BNB for the first Vault deposit. That displayed deposit amount and the February 2022 affiliate-access threshold concern different statements in the historical offer; neither establishes a current deposit minimum.

May 26, 2025: What changed at the lending provider?

Alpaca Finance's Wind-Down Announcement , published on May 26, 2025, set out plans to close all its products. Its instructions distinguished individual product types, including Automated Vaults. GYM Network's documented lending integration did not, by itself, identify a deposit as an Alpaca Automated Vault position.

Overview: May 26, 2025: What changed at the lending provider?
Vault product Documented use of assets Withdrawal or settlement terms
GYM Network Vault BNB or BUSD deposits were placed into Alpaca Finance lending through smart contracts. The historical GYM Network Products description offered transfers back to a wallet at any time without an extra withdrawal fee or a fixed deposit lock.
Alpaca Finance Automated Vaults Assets were deployed in Alpaca Finance's Automated Vault strategies. The May 26, 2025 plan called for strategies to stop immediately, loans to be repaid and vault assets to be converted into their base token.

The historical withdrawal terms for GYM Network's Vault and the closure instructions for Alpaca Automated Vaults therefore describe different arrangements. The shared word "Vault" does not make their withdrawal and settlement rules interchangeable.

Alpaca Finance committed to maintaining its own front end through December 31, 2025. That commitment did not establish a universal redemption deadline for GYM Network deposits or promise access through GYM Network's interface.

The announcement did not confirm repayment of every GYM Network deposit, and it does not establish the current withdrawal status of an individual position.
